Reduced-fare passes are now available to load onto your TAP card!
Whether you're an existing Senior, Disabled or Student rider, or a new rider who meets program eligibility requirements, now's the time to move to TAP and take advantage of the card's built-in advantages, like free balance protection and smart-chip enabled remote fare loading.
With paper passes, stamps and student ID cards no longer being sold, existing reduced-fare pass holders must obtain a TAP card to continue receiving their reduced-fare rate.
Applicant eligibility varies by municipality (e.g. senior discount participation begins at 60, 62, or 65 years depending on the transit system), so be sure to check the specific reduced-fare eligibility requirements for the lines you ride. At Norwalk Transit System (NTS), the senior discount fare begins at age 62.
